We are pleased to take care of the initial installation of an operating system with your order. We offer a selection of frequently used systems, including

• Ubuntu
• Debian
• AlmaLinux

If you want to carry out the installation yourself or we do not offer your desired operating system for initial installation, you will find instructions on how to install it here.

Log in to the iLO/IPMI interface of your server with the user data from your customer area.

iLO (HP Server)

1. Click on the Remote Console menu item in the menu on the left-hand side.
   
   
2. On the page that now appears, click on the HTML5 Console button.
3. The virtual console of the server has now opened.
   
   
4. An ISO file can now be integrated via the CD symbol at the top left.
5. Use the menu at the top left of the console to find the options for starting, stopping and restarting the server.
6. After an ISO file has been inserted and the server starts, it should automatically boot from the ISO.

IPMI (Supermicro Server)

1. Click on Remote Console in the Remote Control drop-down menu.
   
2. On the page that now appears, you can see which interface is selected by default.
   For the installation via ISO to work, JAVA plug-in must be selected. Installation with the HTML5 interface is not possible.

3. The virtual console of the server has now opened.
